The stripping begins with the interior.

Started with removing seats,dash & carpet.

Next to go was the centre console & rear storage,

Here is a shot after removing rear storage and carpet,


Next to go were the door cards & T-top panels,

All remainding interior trim has now been removed.

I decided to give the almost bare metal around the bird cage a tempoary coating of primer to help stop surface rust developing,


                          
Door frame appears to be in good shape no rust issues,




                                 

Follow along as I attempt a restoration on my Stingray.

I origionally bought this car to have for weekend driving and so on, I had in mind to tidy up the overall basic apperance starting with the interior then wheels etc; but once I started to remove certan parts I soon realised that this is going to need a little more than a tidy up,
