Here I welded a 5mm plate to both sides of the rear for strength  and for piece of mind really,


More rust replaced,


Now to do the same on the passanger side.



Here I decided to weld a plate to strengthen the inner side of the frame as I thought the frame was a bit weak here.

I cleaned it up and spray galvanized what I had welded in.

Here are a few shoots of the frame back from sandblasting and cold zinc galvanizing.

Follow along as I attempt a restoration on my Stingray.

I origionally bought this car to have for weekend driving and so on, I had in mind to tidy up the overall basic apperance starting with the interior then wheels etc; but once I started to remove certan parts I soon realised that this is going to need a little more than a tidy up,
